The above words of the Lord Jesus Himself begin with saying: "I am the way ..." This is where we begin if ever we would hope to have the guarantee of a home in heaven to look forward to, and right relationship with the living God now.  That journey MUST begin with the way God has provided in order for this to be possible. He has provided all that is necessary for people separated from Him because of their sin to be in a position where God can bless as He intended. There is NO OTHER WAY! God only provided one way, and that way is through His Son Jesus Christ. This is why He said: "No man cometh unto the Father but by me."

God has given to us a choice to make that can make an ETERNITY of a difference if we choose well. The eternal destination of the soul depends on what a person chooses to do with God's Gift.

What joy it must be to live without the fear of dying, facing a holy God unprepared, and free from the fear of being judged? This is the reality of those who have accepted God's provision.

When was the last time we were really thankful? Do we know what it is like to receive a gift we know we do not deserve? God has given something precious to us, what is our response?

"The Gospel of Christ,
as perfectly meeting man’s nature, condition and character,
is comparatively little known, and less proclaimed.
Hence, the numerous doubts, fears, and unsettled questions
which fill the hearts and consciences of many people.
Until the soul is led to see that the entire question of sin,
and the claims of divine holiness,
were all and forever settled on the cross,
sweet, quiet rest of conscience will be but little known."
