"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also."
John 14: 1-3

“Where is the promise of His coming?”
2 Peter 3: 4

Where is the promise of His coming?
It is in the scriptures and in our hearts.

The Scriptures speak of the tenderness of it:
“I will come again and receive (embrace) you unto myself”
John 14: 3

The Scriptures speak of the triumph of it:
“the trumpet shall sound ... and we shall be changed”
Corinthians 15: 52

And the Scriptures speak of the togetherness of it:
“We which are alive and remain shall be caught up with them in the clouds”
1 Thessalonians 4: 17

But our hearts rejoice in its personal nature.
The Lord Himself will come and sweep us from our trials to Himself.
Robert E. Surgenor

Soon

Soon - no more sorrow, no more heartache, and no more tears.
Soon - no more darkness, no separation, no more fears.
Soon - no more death, no more sickness, no more pain.
Soon the conqueror of all these things will come again.
Soon - 'tis Him we'll see , like Him we'll be, with Him we'll stay.
Soon - no more to wait, and it could be ... PERHAPS TODAY!

and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ."
Titus 2: 13

A Song Called 'Soon"

Jesus came the first time to save us from their sin by going to the cross as our Substitute.

'Soon' He is going to come for those who trusted in what He came the first time to do. He alone is able to secure our eternal destiny.

Will you be among those for whom Jesus is coming?

"We ought to live as if Jesus died yesterday, as if He rose this morning, and as if He is coming back this afternoon!" A. Rogers
